THE INSTALLATION

18 Magus Hypertags are in use at the Fitzwilliam Museum as part of their eGuide project. The eGuide currently focuses on highlights from across the museum.

Using PDAs visitors can interact with Hypertags, designed especially for the Fitzwilliam museum, to access information about the highlighted exhibits. They can then select from a number of options dependent on their interests.

The Magus system has allowed the museum to enhance people's understanding and engagement with individual objects by providing relevant information on the spot.
