Using Hypertag’s considerable experience of running proximity and Bluetooth marketing campaigns, the Retail Sales Solution has been designed to create an easy-to-use way of running an innovative promotional campaign. If you have no experience of running such campaigns, you can use the Solution to run a low cost market trial to evaluate the concept. What do I get? There are two variants of the Retail Sales Solution. The first is based on a Brand Ambassador wearing a Wearable Hypertag promoting your brand outside of your retail premises and actively attracting passers by to enter. The second is based on a Standalone Hypertag placed in a fixed location in the retail premises.

  • A standard content process which includes a four screen animation in which the last screen will have text relating to your special offer.
  • A Wearable Hypertag option that includes a brand ambassador who will use the Hypertag to promote your business to consumers within the vicinity of your retail promises for one day.
  • Standalone Hypertag option includes an A4 small counter display promoting your campaign to customers inside your store for two weeks.
  • At the end of your campaign an Excel report is supplied, a small sample of which is illustrated below, outlining exactly how many people downloaded each type of mobile content, including your vouchers.

How much does it cost? Let’s get straight to what will be your key concern, the first day of use only costs £460 and additional days are available at £250 per day for a Wearable Hypertag or £185 for a static Standalone Hypertag. If you select the Wearable Hypertag option, a Brand Ambassador is supplied, if the Standalone Hypertag option is selected a Standalone Hypertag is supplied.

Who supplies the content? You will provide the content of the campaign supplied in standard formats as specified by Hypertag to ensure compatibility with all models of mobile phones. Hypertag can create or edit content if you wish for an additional fee.

Can I extend the duration of my campaign? When you purchase your Retail Sales Solution, you will be asked to specify the dates on which you wish to use it. If you want to continue to use it after these dates then this can be arranged. Exact pricing will be determined by how long you wish to use the Hypertag for.

What if I want to use more than one Hypertag? Additional Hypertags are available at additional cost of £150 for each additional Wearable Hypertag or £100 for a Standalone Hypertag.

Can I change what the Hypertag delivers? The Hypertag configuration is standardised in the Retail Sales Solution to minimise costs, but can be changed to better suit your campaign needs if required. Changes to the type of content delivered cost an additional of £100 per change.

Can I re-use the Hypertag after my first activation? When you purchase your Retail Sales Solution, you will be asked to specify the dates on which you wish to use it. If you want to continue to use it after these dates then this can be arranged, at a reduced cost. Exact pricing will be determined by how long you wish to use the Hypertag for.

Can I deliver a different type of mobile content via the Hypertag from that which is included in the standard sales promotion package? Yes, although the sales promotion package content mechanic is pre-configured as standard. For additional cost we can make minor modifications to the way in which the Hypertag delivers its content to better meet your needs. Alternatively you can elect to have content custom built for your business.

What sort of results can I expect? Promoters using wearable Hypertags can download 20 - 30 pieces of content per hour, whereas unattended standalone Hypertags are generally used to download content at a rate of 5 pieces per hour.

Customise your campaign Hypertag’s Starter Packs are fully standardised to reduce cost, but Hypertag offers a comprehensive set of  optional services that you can use to fully customise your campaign.
