Hypertag has partnered with mobile technology specialist Roundpoint to offer charities the opportunity to raise funds by receiving donations directly from consumers’ mobile phones.

The Hypertag can download a self contained Java application to mobile phones, which is like a mini website, and contains information about the charity and why the consumer should donate.

These are free to download for the consumer and enables them to read the information in their own time before choosing to donate. The donation can either be a single amount or a monthly amount to be billed regularly.

These systems typically take a much smaller percentage commission than more common mobile donations methods like reverse billing SMS and the average donation size is normally higher.

The application would be designed to your exact needs and then can be downloaded via Hypertag’s wearable products or fixed devices in key points of presence.
