Plug ‘n’ Play Standalone Hypertag

Based on Wearable Hypertag technology, the Plug ‘n’ Play Standalone Hypertag is the result of Hypertag’s many years of experience in running proximity marketing campaigns  around the world. It is very simple to deploy and has been specifically designed to be embedded in advertising panels or for use in temporary locations where it is not possible to access a mains electricity supply. Its principle features are:

High visibility display: The display is visible to consumers and text placed next to it on the advertising poster provides guidance to consumers to point their mobile phones at the unit to download content.

Battery powered capability: The battery powered option enables the unit to be installed in temporary locations where mains power is not available thus providing the option to run innovative proximity marketing campaigns in locations that could not be considered before.

Infrared capability: Many mobile phones have an infrared communications capability in addition to Bluetooth to enable users to swap contact information on a peer-to-peer basis. Infrared is particularly important when running proximity marketing campaigns in 3rd world countries where phones are still dominated by older models that do not have  Bluetooth.

Simple to use PDA management control: To enable the use of the Plug ‘n’ Play Standalone Hypertag in locations where Internet is not available, the unit is locally managed by a Bluetooth-enabled Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). For example, content can be downloaded from the PDA prior to a campaign and usage statistics can be uploaded to a PDA on completion.
