New Business Development
Location
Cambridge or Home Based (depending on circumstances).
Salary
£30k - £35k + Uncapped Commission.
The Role
Hypertag is the market leading supplier of Proximity Marketing solutions, with an enviable client base of brands such as O2, Nike, CNN, BP, Coca Cola, Hypertag delivers out of home (OOH), retail and temporary campaigns for these clients. The role of New Business Development (Retail) has been created to support Hypertag’s strategy to increase market share within the retail marketing sector. Hypertag has spent the last 2 years investing heavily in its technology and is poised for growth as we exit the global recession. The successful candidate will lead Hypertag’s efforts in developing new retail business from shopping centres, retail organisations, retail outlets, dealerships etc. and is expected to build and manage a sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, leveraging existing contacts, cold calling, account management and closing sales.
The Person
With over 5 years experience in a new business development position you will have a proven sales track record, be a natural people person with an ability to develop relationships. You will be a forward thinking dynamic person with a hands on sales approach. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling either products or services to retail businesses and be able to hit the ground running with existing clients and contacts.
Skills and Experience
- Over 5 years new business development experience
- Business to business sales experience
- Experience of selling to retail businesses would be advantageous
- Lead generation and cold calling
- Account management and development.
- Closing sales
- Sales process and CRM packages i.e. Salesforce.
- Planning and time management
- Ability to understand technology products
