Hypertag is born when the four founders next meet.
AUGUST 2001Hypertag Ltd is incorporated in England.
MARCH 2002First Hypertag prototype is completed and trialled.
JULY 2003
First Hypertag interactive advertising campaign takes place on Primesight's advertising sites in Warner Bros cinemas with Nintendo.
NOVEMBER 2003
Hypertag is awarded its first contract for the
Magus Guide system. The system is installed in three visitor attractions in the UK, the National Space Centre, At-Bristol, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
MARCH 2004A permanent network of Hypertags are installed on the London Underground for Viacom Outdoor.
DECEMBER 2004
Hypertag creates new
wearable form of Hypertag to be used by promotional staff.
JUNE 2005
Hypertag has its first campaign in Australia. Other international campaigns soon follow.
SEPTEMBER 2005
Largest ever interactive outdoor campaign is run for
New Look in the UK. The campaign runs across 96 Adshel advertising panels.
JULY 2006
Hypertag runs its 100th outdoor campaign for
Sony Ericsson.
